Power Pancakes The EZ Whey


During the Holiday’s I brought you a few recipes straight from the EZ Whey Cookbook. You guys ate it up (pun intended) making it one of our most popular posts. This time I’m back with some more ways to cook some super healthy food that tastes amazing. The topic today is pancakes and there are three great recipes here for you to give a try.

Emily calls them “Clean eats that taste like cheats” and she does a great job of providing very tasty treats with powerful health benefits. If you are planning on whipping up some pancakes anytime soon, you should be using one of these recipes.

Sweet Potato Protein Pancake

Ingredients:
3-4 oz sweet potato
1/8 cup pumpkin
1/8 cup oats
1/2 scoop protein (I recommend vanilla or cinnamon flavor)
1/2 cup egg whites
1/2 tsp baking powder
Stevia or Splenda to taste
Cinnamon to taste
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Microwave the sweet potato until it’s soft. After the potato is cooked, blend all of the ingredients together and cook like a traditional pancake.

Low Carb Pumpkin Pancake

Ingredients
1 Scoop Protein ( Any flavor you desire– I prefer vanilla or cinnamon)
3 egg whites
¼ cup pumpkin
Pumpkin Pie Spice to taste
½ tsp Baking Powder
Stevia  to taste
2 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 tbspn wheat bran ( optional)
Instructions:
Blend and cook like a traditional pancake. Awesome topped with Natural Peanut or Almond Butter

PB & Banana Pancake

Ingredients:
1/3 cup oats
3 Egg whites
1/2 banana
1 tablespoon PB
2 tabelspoons ground flaxseeds
½ scoop protein flavor of choice
stevia to taste
½ tsp Baking powder

Instructions:
Blend all together and cook like a traditional pancake. Top with PB and other half of banana.

    hey, back in the 80’s i had a special pancake mix with high protein (lots of egg whites, whole wheat flower or other flour AND to make some taste, i would add some pound cake mix!! dude, delicious!!! i was in my body building days and i would bring about 8 large crepe style pancakes along with me smoothered in peanut butter and honey! perfekt for the clients that wants to PUT ON weight!

  5. Lots of helpful stuff on this site. At the moment I’m really focused on achieving ripped six pack abs. It’s my personal objective these days. I’m wondering if anyone has any special diet recommendations to help me get six pack abs faster I’ve been told that egg whites, oatmeal, salmon, blueberries and broccoli are all important to include in my diet. Anything else I’m not thinking of?

    Red meat actually has CLA in it which has actually shown to reduce belly fat. Whole those foods are all great, they won’t necessarily give you six pack abs. More importantly is the bad stuff that you cut out of your diet and the exercise you do.
